FVAS Events
Club Meetings - Our club holds monthly club meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month. These meetings are open to the public and are currently held online via zoom. Each meeting usually has a short lecture or presentation, followed by club business.
FVAS - "Ask the Astronomer" meetings are open to the public and generally held on the Wednesday following a public Star Party. Please see the "Upcoming Events" at the top of this page for the latest dates. Club members will be in attendance and are looking forward to answer any of your questions related to the hobby of astronomy.
Public Star Parties - Star Parties are free events sponsored by our Astronomy Club to educate and introduce the Public to the Night Sky. We start by providing our guests with an optional presentation on an astronomy topic. The presentation usually lasts for about 30 minutes, then we go outside to observe the night sky (weather permitting).
